October 2016 – We are delighted to be presenting at the UK MIPIM Conference at Olympia in London between the 19th and 21st October. Moran Asset Management is the Project Director and lead commercial adviser for Luton Town Football Club and 2020 Developments for the plan to regenerate a 20-acre site in Luton town centre for an iconic new stadium together with 550 apartments and a hotel, bars and restaurants alongside a 1,800 capacity music venue and various community elements. The project also sees the de-culverting of the River Lea to create a dramatic new river frontage.
October 2016 – Also showcasing at the 2016 UK MIPIM Conference is our Newlands Park project which occupies a 40-acre site adjacent to Junction 10 of the M1. Owned by 2020 Developments (Luton), an outline planning application was submitted on the 3rd of August for a major new mixed-use gateway development that sees 460,000 sq ft of offices, a 350 bed high quality hotel together and over 400,000 sq ft of retail and leisure floorspace come forward with a truly aspirational vision for the town.
October 2016 – We are delighted to confirm the North Bay cinema-led scheme in Scarborough received full approval today (6th October) for its reserved matters planning application. Moran Asset Management is the Development Adviser to owners Benchmark Leisure and we look forward now to starting construction on-site in the New Year for a 7-screen cinema, 22,000 sq ft of bars/restaurants/retail, 24 apartments and a 300 space multi-storey car park.
